Introducing PrivacyFirst Insights
Making AI security clearer, more practical, and more human.

AI security deserves writing that helps people think, not just react. That is the idea behind PrivacyFirst Insights.
This is a place for people who are building, securing, reviewing, or simply trying to understand AI systems. We want to make difficult questions easier to approach without pretending they have easy answers.
What you can expect
We will choose a small number of topics that feel genuinely useful. Sometimes that will mean looking closely at a security incident. Sometimes it will mean unpacking a standard, explaining a control, or asking what evidence a team should expect before an AI system receives more authority.
The aim is not to repeat the news. It is to find the part that changes a real decision: what to inspect, what to constrain, what to test, what to record, and what still remains uncertain.
We will keep the pieces concise. We will link to the evidence behind factual claims, separate what is known from what is inferred, and correct the record when something material changes. If a topic is still developing, we will say so. If our perspective is a judgment rather than a fact, we will make that visible too.
A point of view, held honestly
Our perspective is simple: AI security is not only about model behavior. It is also about the systems people build around models—the authority they grant, the data they connect, the boundaries they enforce, and the evidence they keep.
That perspective will guide us toward the questions that matter in practice: not only whether an AI system can do something, but whether it should, under whose authority, with what safeguards, and with what evidence.
Most of all, we want Insights to feel like a thoughtful conversation with people who care about getting this right: calm enough to avoid the hype, practical enough to use, and human enough to enjoy reading.
Welcome to PrivacyFirst Insights. We are glad you are here.
